SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the conversational text messaging program operated by Mak Way Inc (“Mak Way Inc,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a freight transportation company (USDOT 3091965, MC 72461) located at 9447 S 86th Ct Apt B103, Hickory Hills, IL 60457. By opting in and texting with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Brand and Program

The brand and message sender is Mak Way Inc. Messages are exchanged with our dispatch team from (708) 260-6230. This program sends conversational messages only — two-way replies within a conversation you take part in with our staff. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, automated bulk messages, or donation requests.

2. Conversational Messages

When you opt in, you and our dispatch team can text back and forth about your freight — for example, answering a question you asked us, agreeing on a time, or coordinating the details of a shipment you booked with us. Every message is part of a conversation between you and a member of our team.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary and depends entirely on the conversation you are having with us. If you are not texting with us, you will not receive messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier and plan. Mak Way Inc is not responsible for charges assessed by your wireless carrier.

5. How You Opt In

Consent is collected directly by Mak Way Inc, is specific to text messaging, and is never obtained from or shared with a third party. You may opt in by:

• Entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on the contact form on this website. The box is not pre-checked, providing a phone number is optional, and submitting the form does not require SMS consent.
• Texting us first at (708) 260-6230, which starts a conversation with our dispatch team.
• Giving written consent on a signed carrier packet, rate confirmation, or onboarding document.
• Giving verbal consent to our staff by phone or in person, after being read the disclosure shown below.

Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services from Mak Way Inc.

6. Opt-In Disclosure We Present

“By opting in to SMS from Mak Way Inc, you agree to receive conversational messages at the number provided. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms & Conditions.”

7. How to Opt Out

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message from us. We will send one confirmation message, and you will receive no further messages. To start again, reply START or opt in again as described above.

• Conversation with dispatch: “Mak Way Inc: Thanks for reaching out. Yes, we can cover Chicago to Dallas on Tuesday — what time works for pickup? Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
• If you reply HELP: “Mak Way Inc: For support call (708) 206-5930 or email dispatch@makwayinc.us. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”
• If you reply STOP: “Mak Way Inc: You have successfully opted out of messages from Mak Way Inc. You will receive no further messages.”

10. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed.

11. Privacy

Information you give us is handled under our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

12. Age Restriction

This program is for business use by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not send age-restricted content.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
